Providing a future to the poorest children in India through musical education.
Charity No. 1040751
The Mathieson Mission School is our flagship project and educates hundreds of deprived children in India. Students have gone on to have highly successful careers in the film, and music industries and non-music careers.
During Covid we supported the families of the children to provide them with food and support. This was an incredibly difficult time for many families who had no safety net.
On our school site we are building facilities to ensure our activities are as sustainable as possible. From using traditional building techniques to manage heat in our buildings to growing our own food. The Mathieson Music Trust is ensuring a sustainable future.
“Musical education was not just a pathway to learning notes and rhythms; it became a lifeline that transformed my life. It taught me discipline, perseverance, and the beauty of self-expression.”
